How Do I Stop Pulling My Hair Under Stress? This is my trichotillomania hairstyle that I use when I don't want to be able to pull my own hair.

How Do I Stop Pulling My Hair Under Stress?

Yesterday was a rough day, my poor nails are really short.

There was some drama going on!

I had some bloggers attack me online out of nowhere for no reason basically other than they are mean..

Mean people suck! 

It was stressful to say the least.

I work online so it happens, but really not that often.

I’m a very laid back person, drama is not the norm, so it was definitely something that got my anxiety levels up.

I know the night before some bad things were being said and you know what I did..?

I could feel myself starting already to get anxiety, my nails were just about gone..

I was twisting and pulling my hair like a mad woman at the same time..

So How Do You Stop Pulling Your Hair Under Stress?

I decided that to keep myself from yanking on my hair I would pull it back in this crazy braided style here.

This is how to stop pulling your hair under stress. My trichotillomania hair style I wear to stop my hair pulling disorder.

I’m fortunate that my hair is really thick so I can interweave the uneven, short and patchy areas into the braid.

I can hide my Trich tick in a braid and not touch it and it looks normal… well semi-normal, I mean the hair style is a bit odd for me I suppose?

This is my trichotillomania hair style that I use to stop pulling my hair under stressful situations. It's pretty effective because I can't get to the hairs in my head. It's like trying to pull through finely twined rope - it stops hair pulling in its tracks.

Pss… love that TP roll shot in the background huh? Selfie fail.

When its pulled tight into a braid like this I can’t touch the area I want to pull easily.…unless I want to undo the braid, which I don’t.

My handy dandy clip arsenal won’t do it on high stress days like this, I’ll would just tear through those clips like a kid with a Christmas present.

I kept this braided look in my hair for about 18 hours.

Not bad. Almost a day.

For 18 hours under some very high stress situations, I managed to not twist and pull my hair.

My nails got chewed.

My thumb got sucked..

but my hair is in tact another day..

I do them all so there’s no judgement here.
